Our Story

Independent living can be challenging and overwhelming. At ANCHOR we believe no one should have to face these challenges alone.

Our story began with a simple idea: to create a trusted resource for families navigating senior care, healthcare systems, and everyday needs. Too often, people are left to figure out complicated services on their own, unsure who to turn to for help. ANCHOR was founded to be that guiding hand, providing personalized, hours-based support memberships designed to meet each family’s unique needs.

We’re here to make life easier, safer, and more enjoyable for the people we serve. Whether it’s assisting with everyday tasks, navigating healthcare decisions, or simply offering companionship, ANCHOR provides reliable help and peace of mind when it’s needed most.

We Will Never

  • Make legal, medical, or financial decisions on behalf of customers.
  • Hold or control a customer’s money, property, or personal accounts.
  • Petition for guardianship or act as a guardian.
  • Restrict a customer’s rights, choices, or personal freedoms.
  • Take custody or control of a customer’s assets or benefits.
  • Accept power of attorney authority.
  • Isolate customers from family, friends, or community involvement.

We Will Always

  • We empower customers to make informed decisions.
  • We advocate for customers rights and preferences in all settings.
  • We support our customers to live healthy independent lives.
  • We maintain confidentiality and respect privacy.
  • We provide information and coordination — not control.
  • We encourage family involvement and transparent communication.
